On Wednesday, April 17th, the comedy showcase This Is Casually Happening will be having its fifth showcase of the 2024 Season at The Golden Hoosier. The showcase was recently recognized in St. Louis Magazine for their November 2023 Issue alongside with other local showcases. Doors will open at 7pm, with the show beginning at 7:30pm.

Headlining will be St. Louis based comedian Scott James, who is a main contender in the comedy circuit of St. Louis. Scott has received recognition recently for placing third as a finalist in the Funniest Person In St. Louis Competition with Helium Comedy Club St. Louis. James is also a regular performer at both locations of the Funny Bone St. Louis (Westport Plaza and Saint Charles).

The showcase will also feature comedians Ronaldo Mercado, Andrew Gaffigan, and Mollie Amburgey. Ronaldo has been making strides in his career by opening for traveling comedians at well-known performance venues in St. Louis such as The Pageant and The Stifel Theater. He is also a fan favorite within the comedy clubs and independent venues in the St. Louis area. Andrew performs regularly at the Funny Bone Comedy Clubs and host and produces his own showcase at the 9th Street Deli at Howard's. He is also a co-producer with Ronaldo of the hit St. Louis roast show, The Gateway City League.

Amburgey is the producer of the show and host of the podcast Casually Mollie, which includes interviews with comedians and entertainers both locally and around the country. She also performs regularly in the St. Louis area and the Midwest. You may have heard her interviewed on the Big 550 KTRS and St. Louis On The Air with St. Louis Public Radio when discussing St. Louis Comedy!
